In an emotional TV interview, the 'Iranian Hulk' has revealed his parents have 'disowned' him after he got into a heated row with future opponent Martyn Ford.

Ford, dubbed 'the scariest man on the planet', will finally face the 'Iranian Hulk', whose real name is Sajad Gharibi, in a boxing match on April 2 at the O2 Arena in London.

For the first time since declaring war last year, the pair went head-to-head for the first time in Dubai and during that meeting in February, things got heated when Gharibi crashed out of the Ford.

Since the heated fight, Gharibi has spoken about the aftermath of the fight.

In a live TV interview, the 30-year-old Iranian said that his parents refuse to talk to him.

"I can't call my family; when I returned to Iran I didn't go to my family," the 'Iranian Hulk' initially said.

"I can't talk to my father and mother. When I spoke to her, she said: "The person in this video I saw was not my son, my son is much stronger than this."

"My heart hurts when I can't talk to my family, I've lost my pride and I'm devastated, how can I explain it?".

"They tricked me and I fell to the ground. My family said you're going to get there and get it done. They expected the opposite. How can I sleep or rest?".

Gharibi also admitted that as a result of the stress, he has returned to using sleeping pills.

"I personally feel really bad and can't sleep, but now I'm taking sleeping pills. When a mother says this to her child, how can it be tolerated?".

"There's a lot of pressure, if I'm paid even one dollar to do this, I can't continue," Gharibi concluded. /Telegraph/
