The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Besnik Tahiri, has reacted to the invitation of the Prime Minister and the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, for meetings with opposition parties, describing it as an attempt to change the recently created political narrative.

In a public reaction, Tahiri stated that this invitation aims to shift responsibility for the political blockade from the government to the opposition and other institutions.

"Kurti's invitation for meetings with the opposition is an attempt to overturn the narrative of the blockade he has created himself and at the same time to put pressure on the Constitutional Court," Tahiri wrote.

According to him, although at first glance such an invitation may seem constructive, it essentially has political purposes.

"At first glance, it seems constructive, but in fact it is preparing the ground so that, if there is no positive epilogue, according to him, he can blame the opposition and the Court," he emphasized.

Tahiri added that, through this action, Kurti is also trying to shift attention from the political clash with the country's president.

"At the same time, Kurti is trying to shift attention from the clash with the President and disorient the opposition," he stated.

He has warned that, without an agenda and without clear preconditions from the opposition, such a process could be used for other political purposes.

"Without a clear agenda and preconditions from the opposition, he can also use this process to evade responsibility and push the country towards elections according to his political calculations," Tahiri concluded. /Telegrafi/
