After the publication about a month ago of the news that an Albanian woman is behind the new ChatGPT discovery, the British media and then the Swiss ones again started to write extensively about the scientist in question, Mira Murat.

The latter reflect the "euphoria" that reigns among the Albanian community regarding the 35-year-old Albanian woman living in the USA.

"This reflects our ambition", this is how the Albanian community celebrates Mira Murat, is the title of an article published on 20minuten.ch, where representatives of the community talk about the "phenomenon".

The euphoria surrounding the chatbot and text generator ChatGPT is currently high. Behind her is the 35-year-old Mira Murati. The Albanian has been Chief Technology Officer at OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, since last May, reports albinfo.ch. She previously worked at Tesla on the Model X. This makes the Albanian community in Switzerland proud.

“Everyone is talking about ChatGPT right now, whether it's with friends, at the office or at the kitchen table. We are very happy that an Albanian woman stands in front of this", says Përparim Avdili, head of the organization Swissalbs of the Swiss-Albanian community and head of the FDP of the city of Zurich.

Murat's success is extraordinary and shows what can be achieved with intellect.

She has a great and important role as a model for the Albanian community and especially for young women, he says.

"She gives young Albanian women a perspective"

Manusha Sakica, entrepreneur and designer from Lucerne, sees the Albanian scientist in a similar way.

"Mira Murati opens doors and gives young Albanian women a perspective. It shows them that they can go far – even to Silicon Valley."

Manusha finds it very motivating that a person who moves the world has the same roots as herself.

"She is an inspiration to me. I and probably every Albanian woman would love to claim that she is our cousin," jokes the entrepreneur.

Even entrepreneur Sysret Kastrati is proud of Murat's success story. "It reflects the ambition of our community and our drive to make a difference in the world," he said.

As he says, such success stories have an immediate positive effect. "They motivate us to do better, which ultimately benefits society."

Kastrati sees another positive effect on the national and international perception of the Albanian community. "These achievements put us in a better strategic position, be it on a political, personal or business level. So our origin is now not related to negative reports, but rather to the CTO of ChatGPT”.

About the success of Mira Murat, born in 1988 in Albania, Blick newspaper and some other Swiss media have written these days.
