Rama with students on EU integration: This is an effort that makes sense for each of you

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke to students this Thursday as part of a student tour regarding EU integration.
Rama said in his speech that according to him, EU integration is meaningful for each of the young people.
"Only 27 boys, mostly girls. I believe in them a lot and it is evident that, if there is to be salvation for humanity, it will come from women and girls. I am glad that we are here to discuss a topic that is talked about every day, but which remains distant. Many people think that we are in Europe, as long as we can move freely; the rest are things that have nothing to do with citizens. But the process is such that, the more you follow it, the more you learn that we are a country that is not in the EU.
You, as students, can study abroad, but when you cross the border, you are foreigners. You are foreign students and, as such, you are treated differently, not on the same terms; you pay much more. If we are in the EU, this will change and you will be in Warsaw as in Tirana. You will no longer be foreigners in a foreign country. You can look for a job in any city in Europe and no one will say to you: 'Where are you from?', because this is the EU. Albania is not. This is an effort that has meaning and a direct impact for each of you. Albania has never had luck on this issue”, he said. /Euronews.al/
