Netflix brings back Winx Club 21 years after its debut, following the cancellation of spin-off Fate: The Winx Saga

Netflix has announced that it will bring back the popular animated series Winx Club, 21 years after its first television debut.
The new series, titled The Magic Is Back, will launch on October 2 and will include new stories, new characters, and the return of some fan-favorite fairies.
The animated series, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2019, has left its mark on many generations with the adventures of Bloom and the Winx Club at the Alfea Fairy School, writes Dailymail.

Netflix will bring this legacy to life with a CGI series, recreating the characters' magical powers and friendships.
This comeback comes after the cancellation of the live-action spin-off Fate: The Winx Saga, which was not continued after just two seasons in 2022.

The new series aims to win back the hearts of fans by preserving the essence of the original animated series and introducing a new song by Virginia Bocelli, the daughter of tenor Andrea Bocelli.
Meanwhile, fans of the original series are wary of changes to the racial makeup of the characters, following negative reactions to Fate: The Winx Saga.

However, Netflix hopes that The Magic Is Back to bring back the magic that made Winx Club so beloved for generations.
The new series will focus on Bloom and her friends as they fight to protect the Magic Dimension and learn that true strength lies not only in magical powers, but also in courage, determination, and empathy.
In this way, Winx Club aims to return as a new phenomenon for new audiences, connecting generations and preserving nostalgia for old fans. /Telegraph/
