A case of illegal possession of weapons was reported on the road to Bjeshkë e Radushës, in the municipality of Istog, where police detained a minor suspect.
According to the report, on April 12, 2026 at around 23:20 p.m., the police unit attempted to stop a vehicle, but the driver did not stop initially. After a pursuit, the vehicle was stopped by the police.
During the search, an AK-47 magazine with 29 rounds was found and seized.
Meanwhile, near the scene of the incident, police also found an AK-47 automatic weapon with a magazine and 19 rounds, which was suspected to have been thrown from the vehicle while it was moving.
The driver of the vehicle, a Kosovar minor, was arrested at the scene.
By decision of the prosecutor, after being interviewed in the presence of the parent and defense attorney, the suspect was taken into custody for 24 hours. /Telegrafi/
