Mariah Carey is also sued by her brother for defamation in the book "The Meaning of Mariah Carey"

Mariah Carey's older brother is suing the star for defamation and emotional distress caused by her recent memoirs that he recorded in the book, "The Meaning Of Mariah Carey."
Morgan Carey, who is injured in the case, says the book wrongly suggests he was violent.
As a result he suffered 'extreme mental anguish' and 'serious damage to his reputation', his legal case says.

The backlash comes a month after Mariah's sister sued her for $1.25 million over the memorabilia. Alison Carey said Mariah's claims were meant to 'humiliate and embarrass' her.
She denied the claims, saying the singer had 'not produced any evidence to support these serious allegations'.
The 51-year-old's autobiography was published last September and topped the 'best-selling book' list in October.

It contains many revelations about her life, including her difficult, dysfunctional upbringing, the racism she encountered as a child, and various claims about her marriage.
Morgan Carey, born 1960, says the American artist has damaged his reputation by writing about an alleged 'wild fight' with his father that happened when she was a little girl.
Other defendants named in the case include the book's co-author Michaela Angela Davis, its publisher Macmillan and its imprint Andy Cohen Books. /Telegraph/
