Fetoshi: How Serbian propaganda is staging civic pressure in Kosovo

The Director of the Osctopus Institute, Arben Fetoshi, has exposed the Serbian propaganda strategy towards Kosovo, which uses staged victimization and radicalization of Serbian citizens to undermine stability.
According to Fetoš, Serbian media and politicians use an alarmist tone to create the impression of an existential threat to Serbs, focusing on the trilateral Albania-Croatia-Kosovo meeting in Munich and the law on foreigners in Kosovo.
""Great danger for Serbia", "Pristina has crossed the red line", "existential threat to Serbs in Kosovo", "Sorensen soon in Belgrade", "Vučić has given up on Kosovo", "Serbian List is complicit" and "resistance is an obligation", are the alarming frames of the double propaganda in the Serbian media, regarding the tripartite meeting in Shkodra and then in Munich, the meeting of Serbian mayors with the Minister of Local Government Administration in Pristina, the Law on Foreigners and the topic of integrating parallel education and healthcare into the legal system of Kosovo", wrote Fetoshi.
He stressed that the "civic pressure" staged by the Serbian National Forum and the Monarchists in Belgrade, as well as the statements of the Serbian List in North Mitrovica, serve to project "resistance" and justify an aggressive discourse, using the Serbian community as an instrument for the destabilization of Kosovo.
"This points to a double strategy with an alarming tone, which on the one hand hides behind victimization to "justify" the armament by Russia and China and on the other hand projects "radicalization of citizens" to "legitimize" the aggressive discourse, in order to maintain the instrumentalization of Serbs as the main "weapon" for undermining stability and international obstruction of Kosovo," he further wrote.
