Mexican influencer and TikToker Aldo Miranda, who was followed by over 10.2 million people on TikTok, has died at the age of 32.
He was found dead in his home in La Paz, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur.
News of his death was confirmed by local officials and his management team.
Miranda was an internet sensation whose content focused on hilarious and humorous videos, skits, reactions to viral posts, and occasionally dance challenges.
In addition to his successful career in social media, Miranda worked as a teacher.
His management team confirmed the news of his death with an emotional post on Instagram.
"It's hard to write. Aldo Miranda was one of those people we met thanks to the internet, but over time it turned into a true friendship. Sometimes internal battles are silent and we don't get to see everything someone carries inside. Aldo chose to leave early and, although it hurts, we want to remember him with the love, light and joy he left inside us. We will miss him more than you can imagine," the post says.
His last post on TikTok was on June 4, and on Instagram the day before.
