Legendary Colombian striker Radamel Falcao has signed the final professional contract of his football career, officially presenting himself as a new player for Millonarios in his native Colombia.
The 39-year-old has returned to Millonarios to end an extraordinary career, while his signature is considered a symbolic gift from the club to the fans, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Millonarios.
The news came as a complete surprise, according to South American media, as Falcao had left Millonarios six months ago and had been without a team since. However, the excitement among fans began to grow on Tuesday evening, when the club posted a short and meaningful message on social media: "The last dance."
Rumors about the return of "El Tigre" circulated immediately, and today everything was officially confirmed by the club.
Radamel Falcao will turn 40 on February 10, and it is already clear that this will be his last professional engagement. During his rich career, he left a deep mark wearing the jerseys of great clubs such as River Plate, Porto, Atletico Madrid, Monaco, Manchester United, Chelsea, Galatasaray and Rayo Vallecano.
