Finland's under-18 age groups have been eliminated from the Eurobasket.

Edon Maxhuni with the Finnish national team failed to win against Italy in the quarterfinals of the European Championship for young age groups.

The Finns lost with a score of 61:56 against Italy, which is in the semi-finals of the championship, Telegrafi reports.

The son of the former Kosovar basketball player, Bekim Maxhuni, Edoni was the most efficient basketball player among the Finns, scoring 20 points, seven rebounds and had one steal.

After this victory, the Italians will meet the French, who triumphed against Bosnia-Herzegovina with a score of 75:61, for a place in the final. /Telegraph/
