Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle with 15-year-old academy talent Ebrima Tunkara to extend his stay at the club, ensuring that one of La Masia's most promising prospects remains in Catalonia for the foreseeable future.

According to SPORTS, the midfielder/left-winger and the Catalan club have expressed mutual satisfaction with this agreement, which is expected to be made official in the coming weeks.

Tunkara, born in Lamoi, Gambia, in 2010 and a representative of the Spanish U17 national team, has been part of Barcelona since the pre-Benjamin category.

The teenager is enthusiastic about the trust the club has placed in him, while Barcelona's leaders are very optimistic about his long-term development.

The young talent dreams of succeeding at Camp Nou and is committed to progressing through the club's ranks to earn a chance in the first team.

Currently part of the Juvenil A team managed by Pol Planas, Tunkara has excelled in his new role as a right-wing striker, scoring four goals in 10 league matches this season.

He has also recorded three appearances in the UEFA Youth League, confirming his potential on the European stage as well.

Versatile and explosive, the Spanish-Gambian talent is known for his incredible speed, physical strength, change of pace and a quality left foot, qualities that enable him to break through opposing lines and create dangerous chances.Telegrafi/
