Baby born with three heads, surprises doctors

A rare event has shocked India and the whole world on July 11 this year, but which has recently become public to the media.
At a health center in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district, a baby was born with three "heads", surprising family members and medical staff. It is learned that the baby's mother had experienced extreme pain at her workplace, being in the last month of her pregnancy, and for this reason she had gone to the health center.
Doctors said that the mother had not experienced any complications during the pregnancy, but the fact is that the baby has two large protrusions formed in the back skeleton, a rare birth defect known as encephaloceles.
The White Shirts say they will do a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan to determine what caused the abnormality. Although rare, reports indicate that the birth of babies with more than one head is not a new phenomenon, especially in African countries. /Telegraph/
