Pakistani man performs 66 thumb push-ups in one minute

A Pakistani athlete broke the same Guinness world record for the third time, performing 66 thumb push-ups with one leg raised in one minute.
Muhammad Arshad, who has broken more than 14 Guinness world records for athletic achievements, won the title for most thumb pumps with one leg raised in one minute for the third time in May 2025, the record-keeping organization said.
"Thumb pumps are one of the most difficult and rare exercises, requiring extraordinary strength, balance and mental toughness. This uniqueness is what drew me to them," Arshad told Guinness World Records.
He said that maintaining balance on his big toes with one leg bent at a 90-degree angle was one of the biggest challenges during the training.
"Time is limited, the body gets tired, but maintaining balance and meeting the strict 90-degree bend requirement is extremely challenging. Even a small mistake can invalidate the entire effort," he said. /Telegraph/
