The emigrants from North Macedonia who live and work in the EU in 2021 have sent 325 million euros to our country, according to Eurostat data.
In total, 37.7 billion euros were sent from EU member states through personal transfers to other countries that are not part of the EU. At the same time, 13 billion euros were poured into the EU as income from abroad.
The largest outflow is from France, 12 billion euros, from Italy 6.5 billion, from Spain 6.3 billion and from Germany 6.1 billion.
From the countries of the region, the Croatians sent the most, 1.56 billion euros , then the emigrants from Bosnia and Herzegovina 1.47 billion, the Bulgarians 1.15 billion, the Kosovo diaspora 1.12 billion, Albanians 1.04 billion, the Greeks 812 million, the Montenegrins 300 million euros.
The outflow of euros from the EU shows a continuous growth trend, and from 2015 they have increased by 47 percent, which in 2021 resulted in a negative balance for the EU of 24.7 billion euros. /Telegrafi/
