For the dough you need:
- 1 kg of soft white flour type 400,
- 1 small spoon of sea salt,
- 2 packages of dry yeast,
- 1 spoons of sugar,
- 4 spoon of olive oil,
– 650 ml of lukewarm water.
Preparation:
Mix the flour and salt on a clean work surface and make a well in the middle. In a container, mix the yeast, sugar, olive oil and water and leave for a few minutes for the yeast to react.
Then pour that mixture into the mixing well you created.
With a fork, gradually scoop flour from around the well and mix with the liquid ingredients. Gradually add more flour, and when the mixture becomes homogeneous, knead it with your hands. Knead the dough until you get a smooth mass.
Place the ball of dough in a large floured pan and cover with a damp cloth.
Let the dough rise for at least an hour, until doubled in size. Then put the dough on the floured table and knead it hard.
You can use it immediately, or wrap it in transparent foil and leave it in the refrigerator or freezer until the next use.
If using immediately, divide the dough into several spheres, as if you wanted to make a pizza. This amount makes six to eight medium-sized pizzas.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to the desired thickness, add the ingredients as desired and put it in a hot oven which you have previously set to the maximum temperature.
