Everyone knows that smoking is harmful, not only for regular users, but also for passive smokers. In most countries of the world, smoking in public places is completely prohibited, which has greatly affected the sale of these unhealthy products.
So, manufacturers came up with the idea of making a milder, "lighter" version of cigarettes, which (supposedly) cause less harm to health. This is where these filters come into play...
"Light" cigarette filters contain very small ventilation holes through which additional air is drawn in when the smoker inhales smoke.
They are designed to have a less harmful effect on the concentration of toxic substances because they dilute the smoke. Therefore smokers often experience these cigarettes better.
However, it is important to note that all cigarettes are harmful and can cause numerous diseases, from cardiovascular to malignant ones, and this applies even to "light" ones... /telegraph/
