The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, clashed sharply with the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Arben Gashi, during a session in the Assembly.
During the debate on migration and the "super job" project, Murati responded to the criticisms of the opposition MPs, emphasizing that the current government is working to repair the damage that, according to him, was caused during the 20 years of previous governments.
"It takes some time to improve the situation and stop the trend of migration, which is present in all the countries of the region. If you had worked for the past 20 years as we have worked for four years, we would not have this problem. We have it because you were in power for 20 years," Murati said.
He asked Gashi not to interfere during his speech and to maintain a more polite behavior.
"Wait there, a little more educated," added the minister, accusing the opposition of defamation and misinterpretation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
"The only way to attack this government is through slander and untruths."
In response, Arben Gashi accused Minister Murati of fraud, calling him "the biggest fraud in this parliament."
"This guy who calls himself a minister is the biggest fraud here," said Gashi, further intensifying tensions in the Assembly./Telegrafi/
