An Indian father's life changed after he found a diamond worth £60 while working his land.
Lakhan Yadav, 45, came across the 14.98-carat stone while digging on the land he started renting last month in Madhya Pradesh, according to the DailyMail.
Yadav almost mistook the gemstone for a pebble, but after removing the dirt, he noticed that it shone differently.
He immediately sent the diamond for examination where it was valued at over six million rupees; until he then sold it at auction.
"It changed my life," he told the Times of India.
Yadav said that he would use this money to provide his children with a good education rather than "anything big". /telegraph/
