A man in Australia has been charged after he was caught urinating from the top of a sports stadium in Sydney.

Viral footage shared on social media shows the man urinating on the roof of the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday night.

As England took on Australia in the third match of the cricket series, this fan clearly didn't want to miss a single moment of the action.

While sitting atop Bill O'Reilly's stand, he appears to urinate towards the big screen during the second half of the match.

9Neës reports that the 31-year-old was then arrested and taken to the Surry Hills Police Station and charged with two counts.

They added that he was accused of 'behaving (in an) offensive manner in/near public places and climbing buildings'.

He has since been granted bail and will appear in court on July 25, where his fate will be decided by a judge.

A number of images have emerged showing the unusual moment, with one shared by Instagram page Brown Cardigan. /Telegrafi/
