Hyseni was married twice, but God did not have children. Business was going well in all areas. He had made endless wealth together with the two working women. He didn't seem to mind that he didn't have any children as the years went by. He had also built a new stone tower and embroidered with a chisel. His hospitality had become known far from the village. Hysen's room had two entrances. One door from the street, while the other from the corridor that connected to the yard.
Those towers like Hysen's that he had built for fun were rare. All the interior walls of the room were covered with razor-hewn wood. Everyone who entered, once in that room, felt as if they had entered a flower garden. Anyone who saw that ode once, was anxious to return there once more. Close and distant friends, known and unknown, had always found accommodation with great generosity in Hysen's room.
The distance from the Plain, the mountains of Pas Bjeshka meant that they usually take this route once a year with their caravans.
The distant guests in time recognized those towers where they could call and where they would open the door.
Hysen's room had become a well-known door of generosity even far from the village. Once a year, a caravan of horses passed through there loaded with cacao and wooden tins from Peshteri, or as they usually called it, from Pas Bjeshka.
Hysen was getting older without ever opening the conversation about a third marriage. Together with the two women, working day and night, he probably had little time to think about the children playing in the yard.
None of the friends and relatives had yet found the strength to open this conversation, wondering if they would hurt Hysen and he might be affected.
No one had opened the conversation about getting married for the third time, until that night, when someone knocked on his door in the late hours.
It was a late caravan with three men and three horses.
With the caravan, it seems Hysen's fate had come!
Hyseni welcomed the late guests and made them feel comfortable. He also made the horses comfortable in the manger. The men of the caravan were taught that when the guest knocks on someone's door late, if he is hungry, he should tell and not remain without food until morning. They usually took bread with them just in case. Hyseni dictated well that the guests are unt. For Hysen's two wives, it was not new to have dinner even in the late hours. A special kaçamak laid for guests.
The conversations after dinner deepened. Besi, who was the oldest of the men in the caravan, asked Hysen a lot. Once, cautiously, he decided to ask the master of the house about children as well. The guests, not seeing any young man in the room, thought that this master of the house might also have some other secret that he does, but that he doesn't tell everyone.
- Do you have children, asked Besi, Hysenin?
- No, Hyseni said with a somewhat exhausted voice. I have neither a daughter nor a son! With this answer, he seemed to want to tell the guest that it would be enough for him to have at least one child and not to prolong the conversation any longer on this topic.
- I'm not asking you how old you are, continued Besi.
- I see that you still look good in health. Tonight I would have opened a conversation, but we have never been in this room, and I am sorry to say something.
Hyseni, calm and welcoming as always, gave Bess permission to talk freely.
- We are in your room and you received us well. We are feeling free as in our own home, but opening a conversation such as the work for a third woman, I thought that it would not be foolish, said Besi.
- More, I don't have any left at all, but I have two working wives, who never leave me alone, at every step, in every job, but it was God's will that we don't have children with either of them.
- Don't tell us, friend, how we can do this job, and nothing bad comes out!
- We are a big family there After Bjeshke, as you say, Besi continued to speak. We also have grown-up daughters, and I believe some of them have passed the time for marriage. We are thinking of telling one about you, if you and she agree.
- Yes, how old is that girl, asked Hyseni?
- Thirty pounds, yes. She is healthy and hardworking. Maybe you could have some children. Maybe she is also your destiny that has been waiting for you until today?
Besi measured several times with half a breath and finally said to Hysen briefly;
- Would you have accepted a bride to bring us from Mbas Bjeshka?!
Hyseni did not expect this question, but that did not stop the guests from saying their word until the end.
Bessi continued to speak.
- Well, maybe she doesn't accept me, since now I've married her husband for sixty years, Hyseni added with less humor!
- It is not even a question of any obstacle from our side, said Besi. We want this family to grow and increase with children, with healthy boys and girls.
Then, with a sort of suppressed smile, he continued!
- So also those of us who return here sometimes, we would have a good guest house for our current and future friends.
- Well, men, I will ask the two women as well, said Hyseni.
The men of the caravan did not even think that Hyseni would even ask someone for a job, much less that he would ask to get consent for marriage from the two wives he had.
Hyseni left the room for a while and went to the kitchen where the women usually stayed. He asked them laid out!
- Do you agree that I take another wife? His two wives unanimously told him: to decide for yourself.
Hyseni, as soon as he returned to the room, without saying too much, said; if the girl agrees, you can bring her next time the caravan comes again.
That's how they found out. So they did.
Six months later, the caravan brought the girl from Pas Bjeshka.
The girl named Sela was brought by the same men who had come together, on the day when the conversation about Hysen's third bride had been opened.
Sela was a beautiful girl, tall, with white hair and blue eyes.
- On the lawn in front of the entrance to Hysen's yard, there were four horses loaded with saddles and with them the fifth horse with the bride. The men dismount one by one.
Besi, the one who had opened the conversation about Hysen's marriage with his third wife, as soon as he got off his horse, called out to the groom.
- Come groom! Take the bride and get off the horse!
Hyseni was stunned for a moment. It seemed as if he didn't believe himself that he could hold the bride up to get her off the horse?!
- I'm sorry for holding the bride in my hands! - Hyseni said with some shyness. Then he turned to Bess.
- Come Bes, my friend! Put your daughter down!
Bessi, as he was tall and developed like a white bear, grabbed the bride with both hands and brought her to the door of the house.
There was a small squeal of joy. After congratulating the bride and groom, it seemed as if everyone was at a loss for words to continue the friendly conversation in the hall. Who would stay in the room and who was entering as a groom for the third time?
After the dinner with many goodies, the sixty-year-old Hyseni became a groom for the third time with an unmarried girl.
Sela polli six boys and a girl one by one. In time, Hyseni left the work of the field and stayed more near the house and in the room, waiting and escorting friends and guests. From Hysen's third marriage, there was a whole neighborhood of talented and hardworking men. Sela lived many years after Hysen's death. Waited to marry all six sons and the daughter. She never saw her family or hometown again. The caravan that brought Selene did not return to the known road, but chose another path. Such an action had a background. It was said that the bride must now be accustomed to her new family. "Where the veil is removed, worry remains!" (popular)
