Indians believe that it is bad luck if your left eyelash twitches, while it is a good sign if your right eyelash moves. So completely opposite from the Chinese.
Hawaii
They believe that the twitching of the left eyelash means a foreign guest in the family, while if that eyelash twitches continuously, then it means the breakup of the family.
Balkans
There are interpretations that the twitching of the right eyelash means that what you thought at that moment will come true, while the twitching of the left eyelash is a bad omen. This was surely a good sign for all the women who were afraid that their men would not return from the war.
In other countries, however, it is believed that the twitching of the upper eyelash of the right eye means joy in the family, while the twitching of the lower eyelash means new friendships. The upper eyelash of the left eye - the birth of a boy at home, while the lower eyelash - bad news.
