SpaceX is about to take the first test flight of a mega-rocket that could one day take us to Mars, and that's just minutes away.
If successful, Starship will be the tallest and most powerful fully reusable rocket ever flown, the Telegraph reports.
But that's a pretty big 'if'.
That's after SpaceX founder Elon Musk gave the test launch only a 50 percent chance of success, hinting that it could blow up like many of its predecessors.
"I'm not saying it will reach orbit", the media remember Musk's statement at the Morgan Stanley Conference on March 7, "but I guarantee excitement!".
"I think there's about a 50 percent chance of reaching orbit," he added, referring to the first test launch.
But he gave the rocket an 80 percent chance of successfully reaching orbit by the end of the year. /Telegraph/
