Ariana Herri, a 23-year-old Albanian, has passed away in a hospital in Padua, Italy.
It is reported that Ariana initially showed mild symptoms such as a cough and cold after a traditional celebration in Maserada.
Her health condition quickly deteriorated, leading to constant vomiting and difficulty eating, which forced her family to immediately take her to the hospital.
The young woman was initially treated at the Ca' Foncello hospital in Treviso, but due to the worsening of the situation, she was transferred to Padua, where she underwent intensive care.
"The doctors' efforts to save her were insufficient and Ariana lost her life due to fulminant myocarditis."
Italian media reports that an autopsy performed today is expected to help shed light on the causes of this tragedy. Meanwhile, the family is shocked by the sudden loss of the 23-year-old.
She worked as a bartender at Maserada and dreamed of becoming a beautician. However, in recent months she had been going through a difficult period, suffering from panic attacks and tachycardia, which are believed to have been the result of a broken relationship.
The funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, January 27, at 15:00 PM, at the Maserada Municipal Cemetery.
