Dressed in police uniforms and armed to the teeth, enter court to free MS-13 gang boss - kill three police officers
A group of 20 people armed with long guns entered the court building and shot dead three police officers. It was all done to free the leader of the MS-13 gang, Alexander "El Porky" Mendoza in Honduras.
Security cameras showed the group of gunmen, who were dressed in camouflaged police uniforms, clashing at one point with real policemen before freeing Mendoza in the town of El Progreso, 108 miles from the country's capital, the Telegraph reported.
Mendoza was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2015 for killing two prosecutors while he was being transported to the courtroom for a hearing.
On the other hand, the president of the country, Juan Orlando Hernandez, has offered a reward of two million lempiras (62 thousand pounds) for information that would help in the capture of Mendoza.
