"We are sad and disappointed" - Ancelotti reacts after the defeat against Barcelona
Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid with a score of 5-2, dominating the match from start to finish.
Raphinha scored twice, while Lamine Yamal, Robert Leëandoëski and Alejandro Balde added a goal each.
Kylian Mbappe and Rodrigo scored for Real Madrid.
Real's coach, Carlo Ancelotti, made a statement after the heavy defeat in the final.
"This was a bad evening. We are sad like all our fans. We don't hide that we are disappointed, but this is football. Sometimes you win and sometimes you have to learn from losing. We have to look forward, there is no other option."
"We played with long balls and this was not the plan. The plan was to play, but we didn't."
"I told them that we can lose matches, but not in the way we played in the first half", said Ancelotti. /Telegraph/
