British MP Alicia Kearns has announced that she has been honored with the Presidential Medal of Merit for her support for peace and the sovereignty of Kosovo.
She described this as a special honor. She emphasized that her support for Kosovo has always been guided by the belief that its citizens have the right to live in peace, security and dignity.
"My support for Kosovo has always been guided by the belief that its people have the right to live in peace, security and dignity, and that we have a duty to stand strong alongside our allies who face irredentism and imperialist ambitions," she said.
The British MP also mentioned the contribution of British veterans who have served in Kosovo, adding that her determination is strengthened by the desire that their sacrifice will not be in vain.
The Presidential Medal of Merit is awarded by the Presidency of Kosovo to local and international personalities who have made a special contribution to the country in various fields, including diplomacy, peace and strengthening statehood. /Telegraph/
