The all-wheel-drive, 335-horsepower VW ID Buzz GTX is coming

Volkswagen's head of research and development, Kai Gruenitz, shared some exciting news about ID Buzz.

An ID Buzz GTX is in development, sporting all-wheel drive with twin motors that combine for 335 horsepower (250kW).

The GTX will have a "special interior, a new exterior and some extra features," Gruenitz added, reports Arena Ev, Telegrafi reports.

It's not clear when the new GTX will arrive, but Gruenitz hinted that VW may also extend the all-wheel drive system to the regular ID Buzz.

He also talked about the upcoming ID Buzz with a longer wheelbase, saying it will arrive in the summer. This new model will be 25 cm longer and will have 7 seats in 3 rows.

The rear seats will be removable and will have comfortable chairs that can be rotated.

Volkswagen is also working on a "California" version concept, an ID Buzz camper. This model is likely to arrive in 2025. /Telegraph/
