The Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj has announced that within its legal competences and as an institution of the State Prosecutor, it is monitoring the process of recounting the election results from outside.
The announcement states that the Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj has authorized the undertaking of all investigative actions related to suspicions of vote manipulation for candidates, with the aim of securing relevant evidence, identifying responsible persons and administering all election material in accordance with the law.
"Criminal offenses that violate the right to vote constitute serious violations of the law and will be treated with maximum commitment, without any compromise. The Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj will remain committed to protecting the free vote of citizens, and will investigate any suspicious case, with the aim of preserving the integrity of the electoral process and the rule of law," the announcement states /Telegrafi/.
