Volkswagen presents the new T-Roc!

Completely developed from scratch. The second generation of the bestseller is distinguished by its expressive design and innovative driving systems. The high-quality interior offers a redesigned cockpit, an information display of up to 33 centimeters (13 inches) and ambient lighting that creates a lounge-like atmosphere. In addition, the T-Roc offers more space both in the cabin and in the luggage compartment. New assistance systems and technologies borrowed from higher vehicle classes round off the model. Examples of this are Travel Assist and driving experience control.
Second generation with new design
The major step forward in the model's development is visible at first glance, through its powerful and clean design. It retains the characteristic DNA of the T-Roc with its coupe-style rear end and makes the most of the additional 12 cm in length compared to the predecessor model.
The lighting design also plays an important role in the new interpretation of the T-Roc. At the front, new LED headlights are standard. Headlights IQ.LIGHT LED matrix are available and are connected to the Volkswagen logo illuminated in white with a thin line of light. The rear also has a continuous LED strip with the Volkswagen logo illuminated in red.
Quality interior and best-in-class features
The cabin has been significantly improved and impresses with its high quality, soft surfaces and innovative technologies. For example, the dashboard is covered in a new textile material, which together with the ambient lighting creates a “living room”-style atmosphere.
The new T-Roc borrows many features from the larger models Tiguan and Tyrone, such as the latest stage of driving experience control. Driving profiles and volume control can be used, among other things. A novelty in this model and in this class is also head up display optional, which projects important information such as speed or navigation instructions directly in front of the driver.
More space for five people
The space in the new T-Roc is suitable for long journeys and families. Even if people taller than 1,85 m sit in the front, passengers of a similar height can sit comfortably behind them, thanks to the additional 12 cm in length. For the first time, in the version Style The ergoActive seat with 14-way electric adjustment and massage function will be offered. The luggage volume has been increased by 30 liters, reaching 475 liter when loaded to the height of the rear seat backrests.
Technology transfer thanks to MQB evo
After the models Tiguan and TyroneThe new T-Roc is Volkswagen's third SUV based on the latest platform. MQB evo – and thus benefits from its new hardware and software developments. These include the newest phase of Travel Assist, which not only supports automatic lane changing, but also reacts more predictably to speed restrictions or the removal of speed limits. For the first time, the new T-Roc offers systems such as Park Assist Pro, which uses the memory function to enable fully automatic parking at distances of up to 50 meters and allows the use of a smartphone to move the car in and out of parking spaces. Also available as an option is Exit Warning, which can warn passengers of cars or bicycles approaching from behind before they open the door.
A car from Europe for Europe
The first generation of the T-Roc was launched on the market in 2017 and quickly established itself. An update followed in 2022. Last year, around 292.000 buyers across Europe chose this compact model, which is produced in the Portuguese factory in Palmela, near Lisbon. To date, over two million units, making the T-Roc Volkswagen's most successful model in the SUV segment after the Tiguan.
The first deliveries to our market are expected in early 2026.
