New details have appeared in the media regarding the initiation of criminal proceedings against the mayor of Kukes, Safet Gjici, regarding the circulation of an erotic video that was filmed in his office.
According to the journalist of Euronews Albania, the video was filmed 10 days ago in the mayor's office and was filmed by a camera placed in a bag.
Recalling previous precedents, according to the journalist, mayors who have been investigated for intimate videos have been dismissed from office.
"For several hours, a video of an erotic nature has been circulating that at first glance appears to be the mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, in his office. In an official reaction, the fact was confirmed to us that as soon as the Special Prosecutor's Office became aware of this video, a criminal proceeding was initiated to investigate what happened," said the journalist.
"From this material, it can be seen that the video was shot on June 6 at around 16:00 p.m., 10 days ago. The camera is suspected to have been placed on a removable object suspected to be a bag. It is not yet known on what charges SPAK (Special Prosecutor's Office) has registered this criminal proceeding", said the journalist. /Telegraph/
