Veliaj filed a request in court, opposing the actions of SPAK

After the controls at the brother's house and the seizure of the wife's phone, it is known that the Mayor of Tiana, Erion Veliaj, through his lawyers, filed a request in court, through which SPAK's actions are opposed.

Two days ago, through a long post on social networks, Veliaj clarified his position regarding Friday's investigations and control by BKH, where between the lines he openly expressed his dissatisfaction with SPAK, saying that they went to home search without a court order.

"Despite not having a court decision to enter the house and plus an unpleasant situation for the whole neighborhood where we have been living for 12 years, in a building built 15+ years ago (under which they had gathered with a notice, from who knows (who, the media speakers, who were once stationed at the milk queues before the investigative team itself arrived), my wife has been fully cooperative and transparent with the investigative team, for every request of theirs, she even accompanied them herself, either to her office or to her parents' house. This is the whole event, which showed that I neither live in unjustified villas, nor have undeclared apartments, like hyenas and full of ravens that attack me from the first day of this task".

Erion Veliaj says in response that there are no hidden assets and abuse of office, but even though there may be dissatisfaction with SPAK regarding the investigation against him, he adds that he is open to any investigation. "I like or don't like what is currently happening in relation to me and whether or not I personally think all the actions of SPAK towards me and my family are right, this is of no importance for me institutionally. Therefore, not only do I not object in any way to the activity of SPAK prosecutors and investigators, but I welcome them to carry out their duty to the end, as they think," Veliaj wrote.
