EA Sports' accurate World Cup predictions continue - for more than a decade they shot the winner

EA Sports published the World Cup simulation results last month and predicted that the winner of the World Cup held in Qatar would be Argentina.
Well, now that Lionel Messi has just lifted the trophy, making his country world champions in a thrilling final against France, it looks like EA Sports was right again, making it the fourth time in a row that the company has correctly predicted the winner.
EA Sports ran the simulation using its FIFA 23 banner, predicting all 64 matches.
He predicted that Argentina would be crowned champions, although it was Brazil rather than France in the final, with the blue and white winning by a single goal (Marksman? Messi of course).
Of course in real life it was Argentina-France in the final, but even then the company's game simulation was not as far off as predicting France to finish third.
This makes it the fourth time in a row that EA Sports has correctly predicted the men's World Cup winners, after its simulations saw France win in 2018, Germany in 2014 and Spain in 2010.
We'll see how EA Sports predicts the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by Mexico, Canada and the USA. /Telegrafi/
