VLEN has reacted to the DUI statement regarding the resignation of the head of the Judicial Council, Vesna Dameva. From VLEN they say that "now the opposition has started to sell their political mind and morals and for pressures. But even this is not sold to them because the citizens know very well and clearly how they have misused every institutional mechanism only for their own benefit, including the courts".
"Opinion knows very well that the prosecutor for organized crime and corruption, Islam Abazi, is a close person of the DUI, where his photos were published with the brother of the mayor Ahmeti, but also with high officials of the DUI. From this party, many former functionaries have taken comfort in the judicial system in order to distribute "impartial justice". To this day, former functionaries of this party enjoy public functions in the Prosecutor's Office and the Court, such as Ixhet Memeti, who was caught red-handed and at the same time vetted the entire DUI".
"DUI talking about actions contrary to laws is absurd in itself. DUI is synonymous with breaking the law and impacting the judicial system on an ongoing basis. And for this I do not think that there should and will be accountability. We recall once again DUI and their leader Ali Ahmeti, when in the meeting in Vodno, former president Pendarovski requested the return of his boss on a white horse, Nikola Gruevski. And precisely in this meeting, Ahmeti had proposed two ways for his return from Budapest, namely through "his people" in the country's courts".
"Also, we recall that for this case, Ahmet's party also pressured the president of the high court, Besa Ademi. And for these pressures of those who are selling false morals, they also received warnings from foreign embassies for the continuous pressure on Besa Adem", say VLEN.
From VLEN they say that Selim Ademi, a member of DUI, has voted for the dismissal of Vesna Dameva.
