After the constitution of the new legislature, the Kosovo Assembly is expected to face a series of urgent decisions, necessary for the normal functioning of the state and the stability of institutions.

According to IKL, these decisions are not only political obligations, but direct constitutional and legal obligations, which require immediate and responsible action by the elected representatives of citizens.

"The main priorities include: Approval of the Law on Budget Allocations for 2026, ratification of the agreement with the European Union for the Growth Plan (880 million euros), ratification of the agreement with the World Bank (90 million euros), securing funding for Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) and financial support for municipalities," the KLI announcement states.

IDK further adds that an equally important priority remains the implementation of the Constitutional Court's judgments, including the Law on Salaries in the Public Sector and the rights of over 94 thousand public officials.

The Kosovo Law Institute emphasizes that the new legislature must act with urgency, responsibility and transparency, unblocking key processes, implementing constitutional judgments and strengthening the oversight role of the Assembly, in order to guarantee democratic order and the public interest.

These decisions are considered essential not only as legal obligations, but also for ensuring the financial and institutional stability of the country, as well as for maintaining citizens' trust in Kosovo's institutions. /Telegrafi/
