Tripunovski: Brussels welcomed the Government's decision to clarify the case with the Payments Agency

The opposition should not speculate, only about 50 contracts that are in the implementation phase have been stopped.
"The suspension of the procedures is on our part, after we have checked the entire process at the Agency, IPARD funds will continue to be implemented," emphasized the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Cvetan Tripunovski, in "Sitel".
Tripunovski rejected accusations from the opposition SDSM that the EU has suspended funds for IPARD.
"What the opposition is spreading, that IPARD funds will be stopped, that the funds will be lost, etc., is not true," the Minister emphasized.
Tripunovski stressed that only the country's institutions are controlling what happened at the Payments Agency.
"For the information of viewers, the IPARD 3 program is for the period 2021-2027, we have 128 million euros available, which are distributed continuously each year for implementation. What has been implemented by the IPARD 3 program are 453 contracts that are already in a final stage, only about 50 contracts are in the implementation stage and only those contracts are currently prohibited for verification," he explained.
"After verification, we will inform Brussels and the Agency will continue with current activities, we will also appoint a new director of the Agency these days," the Minister announced. /Telegraph/
