Psychologists have determined what are the three bad habits that almost all intelligent people possess.

Psychologist Kathleen Voghs, who conducted research on this topic in 2013, said that irregularity, which many consider a bad habit, is actually a characteristic of smart people.

"Irregular environments inspire a break with tradition, which can lead to new discoveries. In contrast, regular environments encourage conventions and safe play," she explained.

The research published in the professional journal, Psychology Today, also discovered that people who they go to bed late and sleep longer in the morning have a higher IQ.

"Compared to less intelligent people, more intelligent individuals go to sleep later during the work week and on weekends," the scientists said, among other things.

Many people consider those who revile as vulgar and rude. However, research conducted at Marist College in New York showed the opposite – people who swear are more intelligent, have a richer vocabulary and better rhetorical skills.

They were also found to be more honest because swearing is associated with honest emotions. /Telegraph/
