Three Real Madrid fans are arrested for racist behavior towards Lamine Yamal and Raphinha during El Clasico

The October 26 El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona has led to arrests following racist behavior during the match. Three people have been arrested by the National Police for xenophobic statements against Blaugrana players.

Four weeks ago, Barcelona humiliated Real Madrid, beating them 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, the match was overshadowed by incidents of racist abuse, with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha being targeted.

Real Madrid have not yet been sanctioned for this matter by the Anti-Violence Commission, but in the meantime, the relevant authorities have moved to punish those responsible for the disgusting abuse.

According to COPE Partidazo, the National Police has now arrested three individuals who are believed to have insulted Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Ansu Fati - specifically, they are mentioned to have "made xenophobic and racist statements, as well as monkey gestures".

During 2024, many people have been jailed for racist abuse during La Liga matches, so it wouldn't be surprising if the same thing happened in this case.

Real Madrid have already moved to ban fans who were reported to have been involved. /Telegraph/
