"They have slandered and relied on Serbian files" - Shqipe Selimi, Rexhep Selimi's wife, speaks

Rexhep Selimi's wife, Shqipja, has said that she expects him and his friends to soon return innocent to Kosovo.
During visits to the detention center in Scheveningen, The Hague, she said "Rexha is holding strong and not giving up."
A day before the speeches they will give in the Specialized Courtroom, she told KosovaPress that the Specialized Prosecution is prejudging the just fight for freedom and liberation.
"Tomorrow I expect the four leaders to exercise their right to speak. I am not sure whether they will speak or not, but I believe that they will exercise their right to each have a final say about this process. However, I believe that they cannot say everything if they speak, they cannot say what they really think about this court for the reason of their criminalization because this prosecution has not shown concrete examples that are on our side, on the contrary they are prejudiced, have prejudiced and continue to prejudice our right to liberation, freedom and independence," she said.
She expects justice from the trial panel, as she says the prosecution is relying on files from Serbia.
"We do not expect anything better from this prosecution, except for what you have already seen in public. That face has been there from the beginning, since they filed this indictment, they have claimed. We do not expect anything better from them, but we expect justice from competent judges. I expect them not to be influenced by the words of the prosecutors, because they have slandered, misinformed and based their case on the files they received from Serbia. So far, they have not managed to reveal or prove their claims that they have had for years," she said.
In the interview with KosovaPress, she also spoke about her last visit to the Detention Center and what Rexhep Selimi said.
"We have monthly visits, periodic for three days, three hours each month, they are short but not normally enough to make us miss them, but normally it is enough that we have that right to at least visit them... Rexha is holding strong, he does not give up, he does not complain, I also believe very much in his and his friends' innocence and we expect that they will soon be freed in our Kosovo," Selimi concluded.
Tomorrow, the KLA quartet will address the jury with speeches lasting 20 minutes each.
This marks the final phase of the largest judicial process in the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague. /KP/
