Apptopia has released an annual ranking of the most popular apps.
According to statistics, the most popular software during 2021 was the one that appears regularly in the media.
The combined list of Android and iOS apps shows that the most popular mobile app in the world was TikTok.
In second and third place are Instagram and Facebook, followed by WhatsApp and Telegram in fourth and fifth place.
In other countries are Snapchat, Zoom, Messenger, CapCut and Spotify.
The newcomer to this list, compared to last year, is CapCut – a video editing program. The program is owned by ByteDance (also the owner of TikTok), and the application was created specifically for the popular service.
Interestingly, a recent study shows that TikTok is the most popular site on the Internet, even surpassing Google. /Telegraph/
