Much speculated about her whereabouts, Prince William has finally broken his silence about his wife Kate Middleton

Prince William has spoken for the first time about his wife Kate Middleton, who has disappeared from the public eye and has yet to make a public appearance since "undergoing scheduled abdominal surgery" last month.

In his first public appearance, the heir to the throne visited a synagogue on Thursday as he said he and Kate are "extremely concerned about the rise of anti-Semitism". Newsweek.

Prince William reportedly met with some young people at the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in London, until earlier this month he issued a powerful statement calling for an end to the fighting in the Middle East.

But, during this most recent public appearance, he "became alive" also regarding the condition of his wife, for whom there was a lot of speculation on social networks about her whereabouts.

"Like Kate and I are extremely concerned about the rise of anti-Semitism," he told the young people in the synagogue.

"I am so sorry that any of you had to experience this. It has no place and should not happen. That is why I am here today to assure you all that people care about this and we cannot allow it to continue", the heir to the throne further stated.

Otherwise, Kate Middleton has not been seen in public since December 25 and last month she underwent abdominal surgery; Kensington Palace has repeatedly assured the public that her condition is good and she will rest until after Easter. /Telegraph/
