The Mayor of Skenderaj Municipality, Bekim Jashari, paid tribute today at the "Martyrs of Koshare" memorial complex in Koshare.
On the 22nd anniversary of this battle, the grandson of the legendary commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Adem Jashari said that such anniversaries remember the sacrifice of the past and give strength for the future.
And according to him, the main message that must be conveyed is the union and unification of all citizens.
"We paid homage and respect to all the martyrs, starting with the two leaders of this battle, Agim Ramadani and Sali Çeku. We paid our respects at each grave. This day remembers a lot of pain, suffering, sacrifice. This day reminds me how long and difficult the road to get here is. At the same time, it gives you courage, strength and a clear message that only together we can move forward", he said./KP/Telegrafi/
