The written testimonies of nine witnesses in the case of Thaçi and others are accepted

In the court case against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selim and Jakup Krasniqi, on December 11, the court partially approved the request of the Prosecution to accept the written testimonies of nine witnesses. While in the case of Salih Mustafa, according to spokesperson Doyle, the Chairperson of the DHSK appointed a panel of the Supreme Court, on December 10 and 11, to decide on two requests for the protection of legality: respectively one from Mustafa and one from the Prosecutor's Office.

"Both requests are related to the decision of the Court of Appeal entitled Decision on Issuing a New Sentencing Decision for Salih Mustafa. Mr. Mustafa claims that the Court of Appeal panel violated the law in determining the sentence for the charge of unlawful killing and asks the Supreme Court Panel to set a lower sentence for this charge, or return it to the competent panel for a decision. young. "The prosecution challenges the legality of the 15-year sentence handed down by the Appeals Chamber as too low and asks the Supreme Court Panel to refer the case back to the Appeals Panel to set a new sentence," said Doyle.

During this conference, the indictments against Hashim Thaçi, Bashkim Smakaj, Fadil Fazliu, Isni Kilaj and Hajredin Kuçi were also discussed, accusations related to allegations of illegal attempts to influence the testimony of witnesses.
