The world record for exploding balloons is broken

Guinness World Record holder David Rush made it to the semi-finals of Spain's Got Talent after bursting 28 balloons in 30 seconds using Chinese chopsticks.

Rush, who holds the most Guinness World Records at the same time, aimed for the title of most balloons popped with Chinese chopsticks in 30 seconds, with the record to be surpassed being 15.

"A few things didn't go as planned — one balloon didn't qualify because it exploded after the time was up, and two others exploded at the same time as another — but the experience was unforgettable," Rush said.

"The adrenaline, the challenge and the opportunity to perform in front of such an amazing audience was truly surreal," he added.

Despite not qualifying, Rush managed to break the record by popping 28 balloons. /Telegraph/
