The two Spanish clubs who are pressuring La Liga to prevent Barcelona from signing Olmo

In exactly 18 days, Dani Olmo will be unable to register for La Liga, meaning he will no longer be able to play for Barcelona in the second half of the season.

The Catalan giants are currently working in this direction so that they can count on the services of the Spaniard, but they know that this is not easy at all.

La Liga is aware of the situation and even though president Javier Tebas expects Barcelona to solve its problem, efforts are being made to hinder this process.

According to a report from Estadio Deportivo, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao have appealed to Tebasi and La Liga not to create space for the registration of Olmos.

Olmo was signed this summer only because Barcelona were able to use 80 per cent of Andreas Christensen's wages, but the Dane is now very close to returning from injury and that option is running out for the club's management.

It will be very interesting to see whether the Blaugrana will manage to find a solution or not have the services of Olmos for the remainder of the season in the championship./Telegraph/
