The two European giants who could make Palmer an offer he can't refuse

A former Chelsea player has warned the club about the possibility of Cole Palmer leaving in the near future. 

The 22-year-old is in fantastic form this season, having already scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 15 games, taking his total for the club to 36 in 62 appearances. 

When Palmer made the move to London from Manchester City in September 2023, many fans were unsure if it was the right move for him. 

However, on current form Palmer would be able to play at most of the world's big clubs and William Gallas has warned the club to prepare for his departure if they receive offers from two big clubs.  

"At the moment, I think only Real Madrid and Barcelona can lure Cole Palmer away from Chelsea and I think he would shine with his football in Spain." 

"This could happen after three seasons, but I think Chelsea fans should hope that none of these clubs will make any offers for him," said Gallas. 

According to a recent report from the Spanish medium Transfers, Palmer had expressed his interest in joining Real Madrid, but Chelsea put a price tag of 200 million euros on him, which caused the Madrid's interest to fade./Telegraph/
