The famous soup of Hippocrates has long been considered very healthy, because it strengthens our immunity, cures coughs and quickly recovers the body after illness. What would our people say - "resurrects the dead."

The story goes that 2500 years ago, the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates made a soup after which patients got out of bed quite quickly. He created it in order to strengthen immunity and cleanse the body of various poisons, so it has been known for centuries how good it is for our body.

Ingredients:

1 medium celery root

1 medium parsley root

2 medium onion

1 large leek

5 cloves of garlic

some parsley leaves

600 g of tomatoes

400 g potatoes

optional bay leaves, sage, thyme, saffron, coriander, capers, cumin, fennel, nutmeg, rosemary (do not put other spices in the broth, so as not to spoil the healing effect).

Preparation:

Cut the washed vegetables into cubes, transfer them to a larger pot, just make sure it is not made of aluminum. Pour water over it so that it falls to the bottom. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for about two hours, until the vegetables are tender.

It is important not to add water while boiling and the pot should be covered. When ready, add the garlic and add the spices. At the end, you can make the soup thicker if you prefer a creamy soup.

It is better to eat one to two dishes a day. You can store it in the refrigerator for a maximum of 48 hours. Also, Hippocrates soup should not be heated, but before eating, take it out to room temperature for about 30 minutes. /Telegrafi/
