Rebels teach Assad's palace's giant garage, inside which he kept his fleet of luxury cars

When rebel forces in Syria entered Damascus and Bashar al-Assad's palace, they found a fleet of luxury cars, including Mercedes, Porsche, Audi and Ferrari.

The video shared on social networks shows the rebel groups breaking into the massive garage of the presidential palace - which was filled with luxury cars that Assad had collected, reports the Telegraph.

One of them had his eye on a luxury Mercedes-Benz with folding doors, and the others did not hesitate to take SUVs, as well as other armored vehicles.

The palace is a large fortress, composed of stone and marble, situated on a hill on the outskirts of Damascus; The Guardian once described it as a "monument echoing the decorum of the dictator".

Rebel soldiers found it abandoned after Assad fled by plane to an unknown location, Reuters reported, ending 24 years of brutal rule in which the dictator and his family lived as emperors while the people languished.
