The "Today I'm a Kosovo Policeman" project in Pejë, children in the role of police officers

In Pejë, the implementation of the project "Today I'm a Kosovo Policeman" has started, an initiative of the General Directorate of the Kosovo Police in Prishtina, which is being implemented by the Regional Police Directorate and the Municipal Directorate of Education of this city.
The purpose of this project is to bring children closer to police officers, offering them the opportunity to feel like real policemen for a day.
The regional spokesperson for relations with the public in Peja, Fadil Gashi, told the Telegraph that the project has been extremely well received by all participants.

"The project went very well and was successful. Citizens, students, police and education directorates have welcomed this initiative", said Gashi.
Also, he said that through this activity, children had the opportunity to participate in the daily tasks of traffic policemen, communicating according to him with drivers and citizens, learning about the importance of respecting traffic rules.
"The children had the opportunity to demonstrate the tasks that the policemen perform during their work in traffic, which will serve them to respect the traffic in the future", added Gashi for the Telegraph.
This initiative has provided a special experience for children and an opportunity to get to know the work of police officers firsthand.
