This is the moment a priest violently drowned a little boy as his mother was horrified at this baptism ceremony in Cyprus.

The images of the priest who in some way violently puts the baby in the water at the baptism ceremony in Limassol, have become a topic of discussion, Telegrafi reports.

Even the users of social networks have noticed that the baby's feet constantly hit the side of the metal container, while the priest was immersing him in the water.

His mother Ntina Shitta says that since then her son has remained red-faced and shocked, accusing the priest of his actions.

The child's feet hit the metal container several times and the priest did not even notice such a thing. The parents of the little boy complained about this in the church after the ceremony - where as a result the little boy had a lot of rashes all over his body.

"The priest hit my baby, we all shouted at him to be more careful, but he kept answering us that he is responsible for baptism. The boy was left with numerous rashes all over his body. The priest ruined our most beautiful day", said the mother.

During a televised interview, the priest apologized to the family, categorically denying that he had acted intentionally - injuring the child. /Telegraph/
